About
Ex Machina, inspired by the movie with the same title, is a part of the popular Latin locution, originally from Greek, “Deus ex machina”, which roughly translates to “God from the machine”. It is considered to be a plot device used to inexplicably resolve an unsolvable situation in a story, usually at the very end.
The title of my blog, “ex machina”, translates to “from the machine“, removing the “God” part altogether, thus providing an entirely new meaning to it.
